Searching Films on Demand
There are two ways to find videos in Films on Demand
1. Use the search box to do a keyword search for your topic:

- Access the Films on Demand database at Films on Demand or through the library’s A-Z Database List.
- Search or browse for the video(s) you want to embed in D2L.
- Make note of your chosen video(s), then log in to D2L. In your course content area, choose your module, and select Upload/Create and select Create a File.
- Choose a title for your video, click the
Insert Stuff icon, and choose Films on Demand from the drop down menu.
- Search for the video you previously found in Films on Demand, then click Embed and choose your desired embed window size (small works best for mobile devices and all sizes can be made full screen by the user). Click Insert, double check the video, then click Save and Close.
- It is recommended to test all Films on Demand links in student view to ensure they work as you expect.
Notes on Student Access
- Using this method, students can watch the embeded video directly in D2L without any additional authentication.
- Contact the library if students require additional assistance with access.
